About the Artist

I create abstract mixed media work that begins with intuition—layer by layer, mark by mark—until something quietly reveals itself. My process is less about control and more about listening: to memory, to movement, to the subtle pull of emotion that guides each piece as it evolves.

Working with acrylics, collage, graphite, and expressive mark-making, I build textured surfaces that invite both curiosity and reflection. Some areas feel resolved, others deliberately left open—mirroring the way we experience life itself: complex, shifting, and not always defined. I am especially drawn to the interplay between structure and spontaneity, where unexpected moments often become the most meaningful.

My inspiration comes from a blend of nature, urban life, and deeply personal, soulful experiences. The quiet rhythm of the natural world, the energy and layering of the city, and fleeting emotional impressions all find their way into my work. Rather than depicting these influences literally, I translate them into color, texture, and gesture—allowing viewers to form their own personal connection.

For collectors, my hope is that each piece offers more than a visual experience—that it brings a sense of presence into a space. Whether it evokes calm, movement, or quiet introspection, I want the work to feel alive, evolving with the person who lives with it.

I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Seattle University and have spent a lifetime exploring creative expression alongside a professional career. A proud Artist Member of the Marblehead Arts Association, Marblehead, Massachusetts (“MAA”), my first solo exhibition will take place at the MAA August 8 - September 19, 2026, and marks an exciting continuation of my artistic journey.
